How often can I take traffic school courses?
California Vehicle Code states that you may only attend a traffic school once in an 18 month period.

How do I know that my county or court will accept the traffic school program?
GoodNeighborOnlineTrafficSchool.com is a California DMV licensed traffic violator school program. Our course of study is approved by the DMV and accepted by all counties and courts. It is important to select only DMV approved programs for court related matters.

If I attend traffic school, do I still receive points on my license?
If the court allows you to attend a traffic violator school program and receives your completion of the class (including passing the final test) before the date set by the courts, then the points should not show up on your public driving record.

I paid the court a “traffic school” fee. Is the court fee the same as the cost for traffic school?
Court fees are separate from traffic violator school fees. Although many courts do impose an administrative traffic school fee, traffic schools are privately owned and charge for their service.

How do the DMV and courts know that I completed the course?
Upon successful completion of our course (including passing the final exam), we electronically notify the DMV. The DMV then notifies the courts and that is why it is important to enter court and county information correctly when registering.

How quickly can my certificate be processed?
Your certificate will be processed immediately upon successful completion of the course. All Traffic Violator Schools must date stamp their course completions with notifications sent out to the DMV and courts directly thereafter.
